Who We Are
1st Response is a non-profit organization founded to aid in disaster relief around the world. Our mission is to eliminate poverty and hunger and help those most in need when natural disasters strike. We work as a neutral emergency response organization that performs humanitarian work throughout the world. Our organization is comprised of volunteers who work tirelessly with donated funds to respond to these disasters in every corner of the world.
Due to the nature of our non-profit organization, we’re able to reach communities faster than government agencies, offering help to the people who need it most. We provide immediate disaster response to communities hurt by floods, famine, hurricanes, tornadoes and tornadoes.
How We Help
Because we are not a government agency, we rely on donations of time and money to continue to fight disease, hunger, sickness and destruction around the world. We strive to put as much of the donated funds as possible directly into life-saving equipment, supplies, food and water for the people who have watched their communities suffer. Money donated to 1st Response is directly channeled into disaster-stricken areas to reduce the number of fatalities and give communities the tools they need to combat earthquakes, floods, famine and other disasters.
Our volunteers quickly respond to war-torn and disaster-stricken areas throughout the world and begin with immediate aid in the form of medical supplies, tents, fresh water and food. This aid alone helps to reduce fatalities and prevent further harm to communities in need. Our volunteers also provide emergency medical services, including surgery, and then maintain a presence in the community to help the residents get back on their feet after other agencies have left. 1st Response works closely with local churches, governments and leaders in the community to organize support and rebuilt important structures like churches, schools and homes.
